    Remarks & Notes
The sun has yet to rise high enough to clear the San Gorgonio Mountains to the east as a Southern Pacific "Hauler" departs the railroad’s West Colton Yard. This train has the usual SP "dog’s breakfast" for power: SP U25B 6702 up front, along with a pair of GP35s, an SD40, U25BE 6800 (in Bicentennial colors), an SD45 and a U30C. The train has just passed under Interstate 15 and is holding the main at Guasti, the name of this siding. (Ontario, California – January 12, 1978)

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
