| I have wanted to see CMQ barns for awhile, so when I heard they were going to be relatively close by I had to at least try to see them..!
Canadian Pacific was running a Herzog ballast train straight from Saratoga Springs to Albany and then dropping ballast from Albany to Mechanicville. This was by far my favorite spot to see them - 9011 in the traditional Central Maine & Quebec paint leading with 9017 in the "heritage" Bangor & Aroostook colors. A beautiful lashup for sure! |
