| Byers Canyon is a place I haven't been able to get anything in decent light over many years. Well on this trip we chased a westbound empty hopper train thru this short 8 mile long canyon. Here the DP tippy-toes along as train ease thru this tight confines along the Colorado River. Byers Canyon is located on the Moffat Tunnel Route between Hot Sulphur Springs and Kremmling. The train is bound for loading at Arco, CO, (West Elk Mine) in western Colorado. |
