| On a windy mild afternoon, the Pan Am “XO-1” local rumbles past the empty shell of the former 1931 built “JV” Johnsonville Control Tower that once guarded the former Boston & Maine Junction between the Troy Branch and freight main respectively. Former CSXT Dash 8s MEC 7561 & 7855 tow 31 cars out of Hoosick Junction back to Mechanicville Yard as the sun rapidly begins it’s decent to the west. |
