| Todays return to the Dakota and Iowa Railroad rewarded us with some interesting skies, for example, seen here as 2505-2506 sit after finishing work in the small yard at Hudson, SD. We had almost bailed on seeing any sun here after waiting for an hour while the local worked until the clouds parted long enough to get a few shots just before the local tied up for the day. Within an hour the southbound road train would pick up cars and the 2 GP's here for points south. |
