| OMLX GP38-3 #1019 leads a string of empty BNSF coal cars to Ottawa, as some fall colors hang on in mid October. Heading north across a little bridge just south of town, this is the last of the coal cars that have been stored on the IR's Streator Branch for years. The IR doesn't serve any of the industries south of here anymore, putting doubt in a lot of minds if this line will see another train movement. |
