| A pair of Geeps leading a short local train have just crossed the Mississippi River into Illinois on the KCS Roodhouse Sub. As they cleared the bridge and throttled up, the trailing GP38 let out a healthy dose of smoke, reminding me that both these units are around 50 years old. |
