The daily Waterloo to Kirk Yard manifest train pops out of the East Dubuque tunnel. The train has just departed Dubuque with a new crew bound for Hawthorne Yard near Chicago. The train then crosses the Mississippi River, crosses the BNSF Aurora sub at a diamond, then thru this tunnel, before joining the Aurora Sub at East Cabin here in 1/4 mile. The CN operates over the BNSF from East Dubuque to Portage, 12 miles total.
