        Remarks & Notes
The threat of rain was not enough to keep photographers away from the Amtrak Autumn Express on 10/30/2016. Almost looking like a dual mode engine, it is in fact only P42 145 (Phase III) acting as leader for ACS-64 642 drawing the juice. The sun was setting in Bristol, Pennsylvania as we catch this unusual consist flying by on its way back to New York's Pennsylvania Station. Its route brought passengers over a variety of Norfolk Southern routes through New Jersey and Pennsylvania that have not seen passenger service in many years.

The electrified Northeast Corridor and Keystone Corridor have the traffic. The Pennsylvanian and Capitol Limited routed, which are all diesel, have the scenery.
