| Ge 4/4 III # 645 "Tujetsch" of the Rhaetian Railway in the publicity paint scheme for Radio e Televisiun Rumantscha, is pulling the freighttrain 5140 from Pontresina over the Albula line to Landquart through the Bever valley on a grade of about 3.0 %. This is usually the task of the "warhorses" Ge 6/6 II from the years 1958/1965, but they are increasingly being spared, provided that sufficient Ge 4/4 III are available, because the maintenance and operating costs of modern locomotives are lower. |
