| Back in September of this year Georgia Central ran rerouted Norfolk Southern traffic between Macon and Savannah. Here we see just that. Georgia Central train L781 is seen passing by snows pond just outside of Savannah with NS 232's traffic which consisted of mostly double stack containers for the port in Savannah. This was the first intermodal train to grace the rails of the old Macon, Dublin, and Savanah mainline between Macon and Vidalia. It sure was a sight to see! |
