Remarks & Notes

This picture says so much about the Southern Pacific in the end. SP 8286 still wearing it's failed merger paint, now a decade old. Just covered in grime, along with the whole set of power. Also it show mountainous railroading in the winter. Soldier Summit in the winter is not a very inviting place.
