    Remarks & Notes
All aboard! Passengers cross the outside eastbound tracks along Amtrak's Keystone line in Ardmore, Pennsylvania to board an inbound train to Philadelphia, PA.

To the left is the modest one-story brown brick bunker style station constructed in 1957 by the predecessor Pennsylvania Railroad after the old Victorian era depot was destroyed by fire. The stop serves both Amtrak trains as well as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) commuter service that runs between Center City Philadelphia and Paoli. This station is currently undergoing a major upgrade, that will bring high-level platforms, a full canopy, footbridge, and covered parking deck. The new station while not mimicking any of the historic Main Line train station buildings, will be a traditional single story building more compatible with other stations on the line. This project, first conceived in 1994, is expected to be complete in 2022.
