With the change of timetable on december 13th, the Südostbahn (SOB) will start with the new service over the Gotthard mountain line in co-operation with the SBB. The new TRAVERSO trains RABe 526.1/2 will run as "Treno Gottardo" from Basel via Lucerne and fron Zürich via Arth Goldau-Erstfeld-G?schenen-Airolo-Biasca to Bellinzona, and from april 2021 til Locarno and vice versa. Between Arth Goldau and Bellinzona/Locarno, there will be an hourly service. One of this new StadlerRail built 8-car train is on a test run on the uppermost level of the loops at Wassen.
