View From The Viewliner. A delivery of new Amtrak Viewliner II sleeping cars was picked up from the CAF Factory in Elmira, New York on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Amtrak 111 (P42DC) trails Roanoke River (62507) and Portage River (62500) as they cross over Wylie Brook in Harpursville, New York. Amtrak 103 (P42DC) leads AmFleet I Cafe (48156) towards Schenectady, New York, where the train will reverse directions to terminate at Amtrak Albany-Rensselaer. This former Delaware & Hudson Railway location is an iconic landmark on the present day Norfolk Southern line.
