| Consecutively Numbered Engines: A Dover & Delaware River local freight out of Rockport, NJ heads east on NJ Transit's Morristown/Montclair-Boonton Line with Norfolk Southern engines as power. NS 5303 (GP38-2) is trailing. The leader was originally PC 8119 (later CR 8119) and the trailing unit was originally PC 8118 (later CR 8118). Through three different railroads, these engines have remained numerical neighbors. |
