| An eastern Canada stack train rumbles across the Lake State diamond in Flint. The train is bound for Markham Yard in Chicago. Cool old signals still protect the diamond on the Lake State side. Once a double track thru here dating back to the Pere Marquette Railway days, the signals still have the 2 heads up for each track, but only 1 is lit for train movements now days. In early 2019 the CSX leased this 50 miles of trackage between Flint and Wixom to the Lake State Railway.
