      Remarks & Notes
Twenty-one-thousand six-hundred horsepower, freed from the confines of the Barstow fuel racks, are at work getting BNSF Railway Guaranteed Service Intermodal train Q-LACLPC6-23 up to speed – in this case, 70 mph (112km/h) – as the train heads east on the railway’s Needles Sub. Five different models are powering this train – BNSF ES44CW 7041, SD70ACe 9032, Dash 9-44CW 971, ES44AC 5773 and AC4400CW 5715 – although most of them look so much alike it is hard to tell. That’s just 21st Century railroading! (Daggett, California – December 23, 2020)
