| A sunlit inbound MBTA Commuter Rail train from Haverhill approaches the shadowy Melrose/Cedar Park station on a brisk January morning. Today would mark the last day of weekend service on most Commuter Rail lines around Greater Boston for the immediate future, as the organization decided to suspend it due to low ridership and to save money. With the glut of vaccines becoming available to the general public in the near future, hopefully the situation will only be temporary. |
