| A single old Dash 9 powers this westbound autorack empty bound for KC from Northtown. Here the train crosses the Mighty Mississippi River between Quincy and West Quincy on the Brookfield. The train is also crossing from Illinois into Missouri as they cross the river. This bridge was built as part of a big bypass route around Quincy, IL, the CB&Q did in 1960. Westbound lanes of highway 24 are above. |
