This EUROMED has left Girona bound for Alicante on a cold winter morning (-5oC). The Girona - Alicante route (604 km) is a recent transversal connection, through the Mediterranean corridor, which facilitates high-speed communications without having to go through the center of Spain, Madrid. The photograph shows its passage through the small viaduct over the AP-7 motorway in Aiguaviva.
