      Remarks & Notes
For my birthday, KCSM 4753 leads a candy cane SB empty ballast train on the Coastline. The train came north the previous evening, laying ballast between Gaviota and Guadalupe. The sugar plant, where many old school SP beat cars once arrived sits abandoned and now stores cars for the Santa Maria Valley Railroad.
