| NECR southbound 611 enters the siding at Vernon-Yankee in Vernon, VT to set off a tank car and pick up a tank and a hopper. Temperatures on this day were 3°F with windchills around -10°F. Two SD40M-2s team up with newly acquired GP38-2 #2168 to bring the 611 south to Palmer, MA from Brattleboro, VT. |
