Only 10 minutes behind the CN local 571, the IANR's North Crew splits from the CN at Cedar Falls and head north on the Manly Sub next to a partly frozen Cedar River. The job is a healthy 88 cars today mainly made up of CP empties bound for Nora Springs, IANR empties, and a few freight cars. The crew will do work at Butler, the next stop about 20 miles ahead.
