Remarks & Notes

A Monroe, MI, empty coal train curves around the scenic area between Buda and Wyanet on the BNSF Mendota Sub. The train is climbing upgrade out of the Pond Creek area into Buda, still 3 miles ahead. This train is ran for Detroit Edison and comes to the BNSF at Chicago via the NS. The train will change crews at Galesburg and head for Creston, IA, via the Ottumwa Sub in 50 miles.
