Silver Lady in the Rockies

Homecoming was always a special occasion for me; I never missed an opportunity to capture the Silver Lady when she came home to her mountains. We miss you here. Built by Budd 1948 for the “Most Talked About Train in the Country” Chicago Burlington & Quincy “Silver Solarium” brings up the markers on the varnish of the Amtrak California Zephyr. A winter storm is brewing over the Great Divide; by the time this train reaches Utah 10” of new snow fell here.
