Spinning Monson #3. The centerpiece of the Sheepscot Yard is an "Armstrong" Queenpost Turntable. Here, we see the WW&F crew turning Monson Locomotive #3 at the conclusion of our 2021 Lerro Photography Charter. Shortly, the fire will be dumped and the engine will be put away in the shop building. In the near future, the WW&F will be building a 3-stall engine house about where you see the two locomotives parked on the left. That structure will be designed to allow locomotives to be fired up and stored hot. Until then, the shop building on the right is used, but no locomotive is permitted in there with an active fire in the firebox.
