      Remarks & Notes
Tick Tock, Time Is Nearly Up

The westbound Southwest Chief weaves its way out of the Rocky Mountains past two relics not long for this world. Both the Signal Line and the Semaphores that remain on the New Mexico Rail Runner's owned tracks are in the process of falling as new signals are being placed between E. Lamy and CP Madrid. The new signals will be CTC for the entire length of this span now, and both the semaphores and line will be dismantled.

The Southwest Chief is an under-appreciated train. The New Mexico scenery is like none other in the entire system.
