| A Tallahassee bound Florida Gulf & Atlantic train throttles up by the old US&S signals at the Apache Avenue road crossing. Leading today's train is a late model GP40-2 built in October of 1984 for the St. Louis Southwestern (Cotton Belt). Fans of old signals would appreciate the stretch of line between Tallahassee and Baldwin. Most of the signals on this portion of FG&A track are still the original ones Seaboard Air Line installed. |
