Testrun of the "crocodile" Ce 6/8 II # 14253 of SBB Historic, built in 1919 by SLM and MFO, between Wassen and G?schenen on the Gotthard north ramp, leaving the 78 meter long Meienkreuz tunnel. The test run took place after the replacement of a drive rod bearing and was sucessful. The photo location was allowed by the land owner. Because of works on the line, for some weeks the upgoing trains are circulating on this track, instead of the usual in the foreground, which is blocked.
