The finish line

Amtrak's Acela No. 2000, the first in a series of 20 power cars, built between 1998 and 2001, nears a finish line in 2021, with the introduction of the new "Avelia Liberty" trainsets which are expected to enter service sometime later this year, and into 2022.

Captured above, AMTK No. 2000, racing west through Bristol, PA, at 125 mph, in a pan photographed with a shutter speed of 1/60th.
