A quartet of Montana Rail Link EMD SD70ACe locomotives, being used in helper service on Mullan Pass west of Helena, are dropping downgrade light engine on the double track between Weed and Austin on the afternoon of July 1, 2020. It won’t be long and MRL 4301, 4302, 4305 and 4317 will be helping another train up the pass.
