A Day at the Marsh: The Pan Am Railways Office Car Special (OCS for short) crosses the Scarborough River as it heads west through the Scarborough Marsh. This particular run, which happened to feature the set in reverse order, would bring a few railroad executives and their family members from South Portland’s Rigby Yard to the Amtrak station in Exeter, NH for an afternoon trip. It’s crazy to think that the days of seeing this gorgeous train run in the northeast may be numbered, so seeing it run amidst the whole railroad acquisition process with CSX was definitely a treat!
