On the morning of July 1st, 2021, the first Kawasaki built MTA New York City Transit R211A subway cars are unwrapped and unveiled to the public for the first time just hours after being unloaded from flatbed trucks at the Brooklyn Marine Terminal. The 5-car trainset, numbered 4060-4064, made the 1300 mile trip from Kawasaki's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska and were towed to Coney Island Shops after the unveiling.
