Steamtown's cosmetically restored 4-8-8-4 Big Boy sits on display at the entrance to the park, placed on a curved section of track to best showcase her articulation. The restoration, which primarily included new paint and asbestos abatement, took place between October 2, 2019 and May 5th, 2021. Nice to finally see the brass bell and number boards!
