| "Amtrak Geometry at Easport Feeds"
During the afternoon of July 7th, 2021, Long Island Rail Road "Extra 401 West" passes Eastport Feeds on the Montauk Line in Easport, NY with two "elephant style" DE30AC locomotives leading a C3 bilevel coach and Amtrak's 10002 "Corridor Clipper" Track Geometry car. The train performed a round trip geometry inspection between Long Island City & Jamaica via the Main Line and Jamaica & Montauk via the Montauk Line to gather track data for potential Amtrak service in the future.
