      Remarks & Notes
With the sun luckily popping out from behind the clouds just seconds before this shot was taken, Delaware Lackawanna PO-75 heads out of the west end of the Nay Aug tunnel on the Pocono Main, just a short distance away from it’s terminus in Scranton. Of most notable importance is DL Alco RS-32 #211 leading the train, this unit has been in and out of service on the DL for years, and this was the first time in quite a while that this unit led a full sized train on the Pocono Main (7/9/21).

Don Colangelo, retired CMO (and sometimes piano player) at the DL Scranton shops cared for the many ALCOs, MLWs and a few EMDs that passed in and out of South Scranton and Von Storch shop doors. Here is a look and many of those units.
