The three RS-12's on Michigan Northern's roster pause at Walton Junction, MI to cool off their traction motors. Of the three units, the equivalent of about one and a half are working, making the southward journey with 32 cars of lumber off the ferry at Mackinaw City a slow trip. In fact, heading north to meet us is one of the sharks and a RS-2, who will aid our journey to Cadillac.
