BNSF train Q-NYCLAC6-08L (Guaranteed Service Intermodal, New York NY to Los Angeles CA), with run-through Norfolk Southern power (ES44AC 8104 in Heritage paint for the old Lehigh Valley Railroad and ES44DC 7589) has come to a stop at the east end of BNSF’s Barstow Yard for a crew change. As Conductor Walters and Engineer Cox wait for a fresh crew, the setting sun glints off the engines as an eastbound BNSF intermodal train, BNSF Q-LACATG6-15L, heads the other way, with another NS engine it its consist.
