| As-needed westbound NS 65E heads west on Norfolk Southern Lehigh Line Track #2 after departing the Port Reading Secondary with a rebuilt SD9043MAC. Behind the leader is NS 9889 (C44-9W). The leader was originally UP 8042 before coming UP 3482. It was sold to Norfolk Southern and was later rebuilt into an SD70ACU in June of 2016, as seen here. By 2021, the SD70ACU was put into storage; by January 2022, it was retired by Norfolk Southern and sold to Progress Rail. |
