| Dual mode in Massachusetts.
Amtrak P32ACDM 702 leads 449 west past the former Boston & Albany Railroad freight house in West Springfield converted to a church. Due to a shortage of ACSES equipped P42DC's, Amtrak was forced to "pinch hit" with a P32 on the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited on July 21 and 22. These dual modes rarely stray from the Hudson Line in New York. |
