| Industry City. The remnants of the manufacturing complexes of the Brooklyn waterfront have been reconstructed into an area of artistry and retail. But on the west side of 2nd Avenue, there is still regular rail commerce. Former South Brooklyn Railway electric steeplecab engine #7 was loaded on to a Silk Road Specialized trailer on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The load had to wait until after dark to leave New York City for the The Shore Line Trolley Museum. |
