A lot of second-generation geeps look alike, so you could easily overlook this rare gem. ASAB 507 is the only GP39 on their roster. That may not seem like a big deal, but it is also one of only 23 GP39s built. C&O got 20, Kennecott Copper got two, and ASAB got their 507. This loco may still be around, working on the Paducah & Louisville.
