After hustling north along the original Providence and Worcester mainline from Valley Falls, RI, PR-3 begins the task of switching Plastics Group of America in Woonsocket, RI (formerly known as Ralco) with 2008 drilling the consist. After switching in Woonsocket, PR-3 will dash south back down to Valley Falls yard where they will break down the cut of cars left by the prior night’s WODA and make up their consist for the rest of the day, eventually departing for the Port of Providence.
