Remarks & Notes

Although rebuilt to -2 and -3 specs, three original SD40s pull hard on an eastbound manifest (CP 276) through the small village of Rio, Wisconsin. Today, 2 out of the 3 units remain, with DME 6074 being scrapped, DME 6054 going to the RCPE, and CITX 3073 going to the WLE.
