Remarks & Notes

Two former Soo Line/IMRL GP9's sit beside what's left of the Hanska Coop elevator in New Ulm, MN. I wouldn't have guessed that these EMD products from the mid-1950's would outlast the iconic bins, complete with "Welcome to New Ulm" painted on them, that used to be in the background, but the landmark structure was torn down following an explosion in June.
