This picturesque scene can be seen from the Western Maryland Railway's Salisbury Viaduct just west of Meyersdale, PA. . The morning fog has just burned off the Casselman River alley floor as the eastbound Capitol Limited has exits the Laurel Highlands to the west and is now beginning the steep climb up the West Slope of the Sand Patch Grade over the Alleghany Mountains.
The electrified Northeast Corridor and Keystone Corridor have the traffic. The Pennsylvanian and Capitol Limited routed, which are all diesel, have the scenery.
