Metra commuter train 918 crosses the lift bridge over the South Branch of the Chicago River as it nears the end of its journey on the Heritage Corridor Line from Joliet to downtown Chicago's Union Station. Coach-Cab car 8412 (built in the mid-90s by Morrison-Knudsen) leads this train, with a pair of F40PH-2s (124 and 110) shoving on the rear. In the distance, a CTA "El" train crosses over the mainline.
