Third Rail Maintenance Vehicle? Amtrak A16519, one of the railroad's catenary maintenance vehicles, is seen at Hunterspoint Avenue LIRR station, having just received a Restricting indication to proceed back towards Sunnyside Yard and the Northeast Corridor. Ironically, since this track is used only by LIRR trains, there is no catenary here!
