    After crossing the Arkansas River, Arkansas & Missouri’s Fort Smith Turn diverges from its route and enters UP’s ex-MP trackage in Van Buren, Arkansas. Once it has completed its interchange moves, the train will back onto the bridge and continue to Springdale.
